My family (wife's side) had their first Grand Reunion at Carmen Rosales, Pangasinan from April 19-20, 2019 and what do you expect? We immediately rushed to the north capital of the country and took advantage of the holidays to meet and greet our relatives.
If you are someone from Pangasinan, my relatives include INOCENCIO, POTENCIANA, and NABOR clans (take note that there were claims that it should be spelled NAVOR) but I am not in the authority to discuss what happened to the spelling of the surname(s) but in my observation, my father-in-law uses Nabor in all his documents. Anyway, I saw that Navor were used in the programme and stage decoration.
Our group that travel to Pangasinan comprises 21 people from Navotas headed by Papa Nelson and Mama Dulia Dacumos (a namesake of my wife) and we were about 6 families - you could just imagine how massive our delegation were. Sonny (my brother-in-law) and his emissaries were not able to join us as they were in France at the moment.
Our long journey started on the 19th of April and started the day by riding on a rented van and we were joined by a car driven by Froilan (another brother-in-law) from 7:30 a.m. and arrived about 3:00 p.m. Traffic jam was so heavy during that time that our expected arrival was delayed by more than a couple of hours.
