Just after Manny Pacquiao annihilated Brandon Rios on their much anticipated fight in Macau another controversy popped-out from the media of his non-payment of back taxes from his previous fights in the U.S. Unable to enjoy first the fruit of his labor, series of problems unfold after the BIR chief introduced serious findings that caused the boxing hero various problems.
I hate the timing of this direct but malicious accusation to Pacquiao as an attempt to destroy his name. Why single-out a guy who, for so many times, brought honor to this country? Why not pin down Napoles, or other senators and congressmen accused of tarnishing the images of various organizations?
This country is sick.
--------
Points to ponder:
1) Why did it take more than two years for Pacquiao to submit a certification from the IRS that he paid taxes in the U.S. from 2007-2008?
2) Ms. Henares (BIR chief) said not all of Pacquiao's account have been garnished, Pacquiao's side proved otherwise.
3) It was Pacquaio's camp who revealed to media of the scenario of his tax's case not the BIR. Out of respect to MP, BIR could have filed tax evasion case long time ago because he is a boxing hero.
4) Why for instance, BIR, cherry-pick Pacquiao and garnished his accounts while Lucio Tan who had long-standing battle on and off the court had not experienced the same.
It's your call folks.

Head First!
There are two varied meanings to this post...
I just saw an awesome game between Pacquiao and Marquez -- they were two gladiators trying to outwit each other in boxing held at MGM Arena this morning. Pacquiao tasted the first knock-down during the third round by what experts called "A punch that I didn't see." However, as Filipinos were known for its resiliency, Pacquiao gave a tremendous left straight in the next round (is that a straight? I got to see the tape again) to the face of Marquez that connected and boom! the score was about even. After that round, it was all Pacquiao -- who gave a tremendous beating on Marquez and was leading in all judges score cards.
Then came the sixth round, Pacquaio was again annihilating Marquez throughout the round until the bell rang signalling that there were only 10 seconds left. As the former was pursuing the latter, Marquez made an out of this word side-step and position himself to throw that well-prepared punch under the guard of Pacquiao. Sadly, Pacquiao fell HEAD FIRST!
Only if Manny Pacquiao used his HEAD FIRST by not attacking Marquez during the last 3 seconds it would have been a different story.

Losing a Winning Game
Manny Pacquiao lost a seemingly winning game against Timothy Bradley last night that (at least) according to two idiot judges who favored Bradley - the new Wheelchair Weight Champion.
One of the judges declared, that Bradley out-punched and out-smarted Manny Pacquiao, however, the compubox stats says otherwise (see photo). So, I was wrong when I said that one of the judges was an idiot - for he was not only stupid but also a liar.
The words of former heavyweight champion Lenox Lewis has destructed the above-mentioned judges but also the sport he loved so dearly: “Pac won the fight. Bradley won the decision. (Arum) won another payday. Boxing lost its integrity and the fans lost confidence."
I am hoping that the decision made will be overturned in favor of the rightful winner. Hail to boxing!

Dirty Tricks of Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Manny Pacquiao
I just got these information from the Philboxing and You Tube and I found out evidence(s) of how Marquez cheated Pacquaio in their latest trilogy. Marquez kept on whining how, again, for the nth he lost to Pacquiao. Well he deserved to lose. He stepped on Manny's foot six times (click links on Philboxing and You Tube). Well, in my opinion, the hardest shot that Marquez made was the head butt to Pacquiao on the10th round. Marquez sucks!

Manny Pacquiao Did It Again!
I just watched the game of Manny Pacquiao vs. Juan Manuel Marquez (trilogy) and the two players are too conscious on exchanging punches. The game was close and so was the right eye of Marquez. Naturally, Pacquiao wins by Majority Decision. I was not truly impressed with the decision however, the fact that he was the defending champion proved it all. Again, to Manny Pacquiao, congratulations!
How could Juan Manuel Marquez win?
Pacquiao thrown 578 punches connecting 176 while Marquez had it 436 connecting 138. Pacquiao threw 304 jabs connecting 59 to Marquez's 182 with 38 connects. Pacquiao threw 274 power punches connecting 117 while Marquez threw 254 with 100 connecting. To everyone debating pts: as a challenger, you have to upstage champ to win. Close fights always go to title holder. you do the math: pacman(reigning WBO welterweight champion)/marquez(challenger). Comments from Mr. Gil Virtudazo
Juan Manuel Marquez should not have waited for Manny to come in. He did not carry the fight. He was not the aggressor. He was swinging badly from 9 to 12 rounds. His corner made him to believe that he was leading, while in fact he was only credited with 10 points each for 2nd, 5th, 6th and 7th rounds. Try to review the video and try to mute the video. 116-112 for Manny Pacquiao is a convincing score. What was lacking was the total domination of the fight by Pacquiao tha's why viewers were not satisfied of the outcome. Comments from Ms. Luz Aridien after the fight.
People expected that Manny would throw even the kitchen sink but it did not happen. The truth is Manny won but not convincingly. Congrats Manny!

Pacquiao Annihilates Cotto
How nice to see my countryman Manny Pacquiao annihilating (sorry for the word) the equally talented Miguel Cotto of Puerto Rico. I am so nervous during the first round as both players exchange hard punches. Every time Manny gets hit I felt the pain inside me. As the game progresses the excitement continuously grow. Come Round 3 and a wicked right cross (is that really a right cross?) from Pacquiao decked Cotto to the canvas.
I jumped. No. Everybody watching jumped as we exchanged high fives at the RELC-NCR in Marikina. Wow. Manny's punch was indeed extraordinary.
The game ended with a TKO during the final round. As Manny gave a 3-punch combo Bayless immediately stopped the fight probably to protect Cotto from further injuries.
Congrats Manny! You made us Filipinos great again.
