I have been to far and distant places these past few days, through bus and SUVs, and to kill the emptiness and boredom I had to cling on to my 8 gb Apple iPod wherein I stored various movies. I remember last week during my trip to Tuguegarao City (14 hours), I was able to finish 3. In between each movie I took a short nap.
Now, the catch is, I've been using my gadget every time I had a chance to, moreso, even before going to sleep and I can't help myself. I have been totally impressed with the clarity, diction, and pronunciation of the actors and actresses that is why. The sound effects seemed too real that sometimes I duck and cover just avoid one of the explosions.
Whew...I love my iPod!

Father's Day at SM Mega Mall
After attending chess clinic at the Bulwagan ng Karunungan, DepEd Central Office, I, with my family, celebrated the Father's Day at SM Mega Mall. After treating my kids to the World of Fun, Tom's World and Time Zone our group immediately proceeded to the Shakeys Pizza outlet to dine. What a wonderful day indeed!

Chess for Two Days at the Department of Education
Well, well, well. I am now with my daughter Helena Beatrice at the Bulwagan ng Karunungan, DepEd Central Office to accompany her for a chess seminar. She is now 8 years old. Sad to say my son, Isaiah Joaquine, was not allowed to join her since he is only 4 years old. I saw several masters and a grandmaster in the name of Eugenio Torre. I wish that Helena will learn from this worthwhile activity.

Too Hot in Tuguegarao City
I, with my group, stayed for three days at RELC Tugegarao City to facilitate the conduct of the 2011 Regional Screening of Potential Textbook Evaluators for various subjects. We were able to meet intelligent and enthusiastic members of the DepEd Region II Committee. All of them have been so cooperative and made our stay enjoyable. Thank you so much!

On My Way to Tuguegarao City
After leaving important documents at the office I immediately packed my things and pursued my way, with Sir Eric, to Victory Liner, Kamias Branch. I found out that our schedule will be at 9:15 p.m. for deluxe liner. We are still waiting for 2 of our companions Ms. Aileen and one from the NETRC. I am praying for a safe trip. Already missing my wife and kids. Haaayyyyy....

Little Party at the Office with 2011 SPES
The little party for the 2011 SPES turned out to be big as emotions flared up to the highest level. The exchanged of remarks both from the IMCS employees and the SPES were both filled with spontaneous expressions. Good luck Arnel, Roy, and Kenneth. Thank you for making your stay at IMCS, memorable and fruitful. Good luck!

Too Tired!
I had to stay longer hours at the office to look over the books for replenishment. I have been wondering why were the books that had been previously edited still had errors. Tsk.tsk.tsk.
